She is board certified in Pediatrics and fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics . She is originally from Nepal. After completing medical school from Kathmandu Medical school at Kathmandu, Nepal, she came to the United States .  She completed pediatric residency from Texas Tech health science center in lubbock, Texas . After residency she moved to North Alabama to be with her husband while working for number of years at Athens limestone Hospital serving children of limestone county. She has particular interest in breastfeeding, Asthma, ADHD and obesity.

She opened Primary Care Pediatrics and Family Medicine, P.C, to provide family friendly comprehensive medical care to children of all age from birth to 21 years.

As a parents of two and pediatrician , it gives her great satisfaction to know the kid, their medical problem and see them grow from child to young individual, providing practical evidence based recommendation that fits the family .

When she is not working, you will find her spending time with her wonderful husband , two boys, Samar and Shrabin . She also has 2 dogs ,Shi-Chu, Maicha and Baucha.  When she finds time she enjoys  reading, art and crafts, cooking , traveling .

Dr Bista is Knowledgeable and caring physician. He is very thorough and known for his willingness to listen  patient’s concerns and issues. He provides comprehensive care and takes pride in encouraging  each and every patient to play a vital role in his/her care.

Dr Bista obtained medical degree from Kathmandu Medical College, located in Nepal, his home country. He completed his Family Medicine Residency from University of Alabama, Huntsville. He is board certified from American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and is a member of American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).

Dr Bista lives in Madison with his beautiful wife and 2 boys. He likes to spend time with his family and friends during his free time. He also enjoys watching movies, playing soccer, mountain biking and traveling.
